The Old Man's Song

My old grizzled coat

Won't do anymore

Do anymore

Won't do anymore

On top I'm bald

On bottom foot-sore

My old grizzled coat

Won't do anymore

Some days I'm poorer

Others just poor

And my old grizzled coat

Won't do anymore

Do anymore

Won't do anymore

Climbing up the stairs

Oh look, there's the floor

And my old grizzled coat

Won't do anymore

Do anymore

Won't do anymore

My old grizzled coat

Won't do anymore

The Wily Old Woman

A wily old woman once told me,

You've come to the end of your story.

I told her I'd barely begun,

And she said, Hush now!  You're done.

I cried, But I'm only beginning!

Then she smiled a smile most winning,

And told me if I'd be her friend,

My story would never end.
